We offer three hazardous materials hubs spread throughout the region. Hazmat equipment for the BERT team is housed in Woodford County with the Versailles Fire Department, and in Clark County with the Winchester Fire Department. Equipment includes an array of sophisticated monitoring and sampling devices, Level A hazmat entry gear, down range monitoring cameras, all outfitted on a mobile trailer ready to roll when the call comes in. The BERT team has the ability to respond and mitigate a variety of large scale hazmat incidents.
